Tucked away amongst the trees on the edge of Angkor Wat's Archeological Park is Banteay Prei, a small 12th century temple.
Quiet and peaceful, the temple is surrounded by a moat.
The central courtyard is filled with rubble; making exploration challenging.
However, a careful meander around the remaining structures highlights the beautifully detailed bas-relief carvings that are prominent throughout the Angkor Wat complex.
I reached this milestone today by "running" errands. Not to be confused with actual running. I don't run. Ever.
But I did walk some 4.5km.
Though I am somewhat embarrassed to report that I spent twice as long circling the yarn isles in Spotlight than it took for me to weave through all the isles of a very large Pak'nSave.
