From the Promo:

Auckland's A-List clusters in Clevedon for a glorious weekend of passes and pony shots. And a little polo.

For Handsome young waiter Matiu, it's a golden opportunity to get ahead in a world where wealth must be obscene to be believed and horseplay is best enjoyed naked, up close, and personal.

Armed with a six-pack and a smile, Matiu plunges into the glittering pool of privilege where every proposal is indecent and the predators are wicked, wanton and very well endowed.

Saddle up for a raunchy, riotous ride on the wild side.

Dean Parker lifts the lid on Auckland's outrageously fortunate and filthy rich in a glossy summer satire with stick and balls.

No one who's anyone can afford to miss the world premiere scandal-fest of Polo!

Franciska's Review:

Lisa Chappell (as well as being an award winning actress) is a part of my girl's 'singing family' and having missed anotherof her plays recently, I was excited to be seeing her star in Auckland Theatre Company's first play of the 2016 season.

Lisa was brilliant.

The play itself, not so much.

Disappointingly, the plot fell short of substance and the mean-spirited humour grew tiresome.

This experience was not only unmoving, but also rather unmemorable.
