Progress: Week 1 Completed



After three days of rest, this morning I laced up the walking shoes and headed out for a walk. . . and in the process, I planted a tree!! Okay, so I didn't plant the tree per se, but I reached a milestone which triggered a tree being planted on my behalf. Which is kind of cool.


I am pleased to report that I have been consistently sticking to the same distance - resisting the urge to push myself to go further/faster.


Listening to an audio book helps.

Not feeling like I may die also helps. (Go figure.)


I can also confirm that this challenge is providing me with just the right amount of motivation and rewards along the way.


Also found the distance converter so can log BodyBalance, BodyPump, and BodyStep classes too!! So I'm thinking I will re-introduce weights just one day this week. Keeping the weights super low and not working to exertion.
