Progress: 20% of Berlin Wall

16th Tree Planted

I can confirm that I over did it yesterday with the weights. My knees aren't happy and after walking to and from the doctors' this morning and then to and from the chemist in the afternoon, I have totally crashed and barely managed to find the energy to cook dinner.

Speaking of crashed... I saw my life flash before my eyes when a car appeared out of nowhere, running a red light, and nearly hitting me as I began to cross the road (the pedestrian light having turned green). I was rather shaken, but unharmed. Meanwhile, the driver sped off as fast as they could. Possibly they too were in shock. But I have little sympathy given that they ran a very red light!! So the doctor's visit went well. I had waited almost three weeks for this appointment and with my regular GP fully booked until mid-January, I ended up seeing a random GP instead. Only, he wasn't completely random. He was the GP I saw immediately after my second vaccine injury. And unsurprisingly, he remembered me. Although he was half an hour late seeing me, he was respectful and didn't rush me out the door. There was no gaslighting whatsoever, took onboard everything I said, and engaged in light-hearted banter. Moreover, he completed the medical certificate for StudyLink/WINZ and wrote a separate medical certificate for Massey University; explaining that due to medical reasons, I have limited capacity to study and work.

Admitting that after a year I still cannot function "normally" has been hard.

Asking for help has been even harder.
