Friday I did my favourite Low Impact Dance workout (release 03). I love the music, the moves, and of course Meno. 20 minutes of low impact dance is definitely my cardio sweet spot right now.
I decided to bring Sunday's rest day forward to Saturday; and attempted another BodyBalance release on Sunday. Calling it quits after 20 minutes as I was really not enjoying any of the tracks.
Today I reconnected with my old friend BodyPump. Oh how I've missed the adrenaline and endorphins I generate through pumping iron. As with the dance workouts, I really enjoy moving to music; and, well, the eye candy helps too. But mostly, I just feel totally badass lifting weights.
It took a great deal of willpower not to push myself too hard. But I am proud to say that I kept to the lightest of weights, stopped some tracks when I felt myself nearing exertion, and even skipped some tracks altogether.
