Wow! I'm flying through this challenge.
Yesterday's visit with my GP went better than I expected. Much to my surprise, she was happy with my thyroid hormone levels. I think she may have misread the TSH levels. I went in armed and ready for a debate over suppressed TSH levels and she kept saying mine was 'normal'. However, because of my spiel, she is now referring me to an endocrinologist for a second opinion. Sigh. What part of "I can only deal with one medical issue at a time" is difficult to understand?
Speaking of which, whilst with my GP, the colorectal surgeon's booking clerk phoned to say they've had a cancellation next Wednesday morning - so my appointment has been brought forward. GP did say that my wound is looking much better and perhaps I don't need to see the specialist, however, I feel it is time I see him again. If for nothing else, some reassurance that there is nothing of (serious) concern going on.
In other news, despite very little exercise the past week, I am continuing to drop both girth and weight. 6cm and 2.5kg this far (five weeks).
