Progress: Three Trees

Have I mentioned recently how much I love these virtual challenges?

When I'm not being rewarded with photos, videos, and information about the places I'm visiting, I'm sponsoring the planting of trees. Today, I sponsored my third tree. At this rate, I just might plant en entire forest by the time I turn 50. How cool would that be?

So this morning I woke up feeling great! Well, I woke up feeling "normal"; which is pretty much my definition of great: energetic, functioning cognitively, and motivated to do the things. Even mundane things like cleaning.

By 1:00pm I had learned how to use the whiteboard features of Zoom, vacuumed, put on a load of washing, and walked to and from the chemist and supermarket (clocking up 2.43km in 49mins). The trip home may have been a tad ambitious (carrying groceries in a backpack) but I didn't feel the level of exertion that I have become accustomed to over the past year. I hesitate in saying this, but I felt e-n-e-r-g-ised.

So after lunch I prepped dinner, showered, and then facilitated a peer supervision session for an hour and a half. Then cooked dinner and am now eating.

As I sit here across from a pile of dishes I wonder if I have any spoons left to tidy the kitchen. . . and fear that I may be suffering tomorrow for over doing things today.
