Several hundred giant sequoia trees make their home within the Mariposa Grove.

There are several noteworthy trees beginning with the 2,000+ year old Grizzly Giant. With a height of 210ft (64m), it is the oldest tree in the grove.

The Fallen Monarch illustrates its resistance to decay by continuing to exist 300 years after it fell.

The Tunnel Tree is one of three trees that had their trunk cut in 1895 to allow coaches to pass through. It is the only one left standing.
